Adrianna was crowned Miss Maryland 2018 on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at The Maryland Theatre in Hagerstown, MD. Alongside her non-profit organization, Charities Angels, Adrianna dedicated her one year term to raise awareness and funds for UCSF's The Kidney Project, whose goal is to create a bioartificial kidney to replace dialysis, and save millions of lives, just like her cousin's, Juliana Casey.
Adrianna is the third woman in Maryland History to hold both titles of Miss Maryland and MISS MARYLAND USA®, and the first to ever be crowned back-to-back!
On September 9, 2018 Adrianna represented Maryland at the 2019 Miss America Competition. The live telecast was broadcast on ABC at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. At Miss America, Adrianna was 1st Runner-Up for the Jean Bartel Quality of Life Scholarship Award, for candidates who demonstrate commitment to enhancing the quality of life for others through volunteerism and community service.
Adrianna and Charities Angels were recognized on both the Maryland Senate and the Maryland House of Representatives floors for their efforts for The Kidney Project and the many causes they support.
