The Kidney Project is a research project led by Dr. Shuvo Roy at the University of California San Francisco whose goal is to develop a bioartificial kidney to replace dialysis and save millions of lives worldwide. Alongside her father, Christian David, Adrianna began speaking and supporting The Kidney Project in honor of her living-miracle cousin, Juliana Casey, who has been on dialysis for 14 years, when the average person only survives 3-5 years of this treatment. Juliana hopes to be a part of the soon-to-come human trials to finally get this device on the market. To date, Charities Angels has raised over $700,000 for The Kidney Project through their annual #JulianasHope Campaign.
