In 2011, Charities Angels was founded by mother-daughter duo Roxanne + Adrianna David. Now, we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of women committed to giving from the heart to those in need through fund raising efforts. In short, we #PartyForAPurpose! By dedicating our time, talents + treasures, we produce and sponsor events to benefit worthy causes throughout our local communities. The Kidney Project
The Kidney Project is a research project led by Dr. Shuvo Roy at the University of California San Francisco whose goal is to develop a bioartificial kidney to replace dialysis and save millions of lives worldwide. Alongside her father, Christian David, Adrianna began speaking and supporting The Kidney Project in honor of her living-miracle cousin, Juliana Casey, who has been on dialysis for 14 years, when the average person only survives 3-5 years of this treatment. Juliana hopes to be a part of the soon-to-come human trials to finally get this device on the market. To date, Charities Angels has raised over $700,000 for The Kidney Project through their annual #JulianasHope Campaign. Foundation to Fight H-ABC
Foundation to Fight H-ABC is a non-profit dedicated to finding a cure for the extremely rare [only 150 children diagnosed worldwide] genetic disorder that affects the brain, Hypomyelination with atrophy of the basal ganglia and cerebellum [H-ABC]. Annually, Adrianna and Charities Angels sponsor “Play for Elouise,” a golf tournament and fundraiser benefitting Foundation to Fight H-ABC, in honor of Elouise Sloan, their friend who was diagnosed in 2015.
